JA in a Day - Available only with Davenport Elementary Schools

Interact in a fun, fast-paced volunteer activity focused on helping students develop important life skills in financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship.

How it works:

• Volunteers lead five JA lessons; two volunteers are assigned to a classroom and team teach
• JA provides training and easy to follow lesson plans, along with materials for hands-on learning activities
• JA staff provides volunteer support at the school; educators remain in the classroom

Your role:

• Invest your time helping students learn valuable skills to enhance their education and future success
• Serve as a positive adult role model while delivering JA lessons

K-4th Grades:

• Fillmore Elementary - November 17
